We are Wadhurst Warriors. A charity organising community events and raising much needed funds for local organisations.
The Wadhurst Warriors is a formally registered charity, but we are anything but formal!
Our volunteers are a diverse bunch – we are farmers, bankers, marketers, builders, musicians, roofers, designers and IT consultants!
Run entirely by local volunteers, throughout the year we organise community events such as the Wadhurst Fireworks Display, Christmas decorations and Santa ride throughout the village for all the children. We also helped the community celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and the new King’s Coronation in 2023 for local residents to enjoy, whilst raising much needed funds for local organisations. We also meet for the occasional social drink and catch up and meet new people in our community.
We’re proud to have supported local youth groups, schools, theatre groups, nursery groups and many others, donating significant sums of money to support their good work for our wonderful community.
We’ve been doing this for over 15 years now and although our events have grown in size, our core mission of putting the fun back into fundraising remains the same.
