By purchasing a ticket or attending the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:
Event: Wadhurst Bonfire & Fireworks
Venue: Stone Cross Farm, Wadhurst, East Sussex, TN5 6LS
Organisers: Wadhurst Warriors, a registered Charity in England & Wales, Number: 1152653
Ticket Holder: Individual(s) who have purchased or been given a valid ticket for the Event.
Attendee(s): A Ticket Holder or any other person attending the Event.
1. Admission to the Event requires a valid ticket whether paper copy or on a mobile device. Please download tickets in advance. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance, on the night, subject to availability.
2. Items including, but not limited to, Fireworks, Sparklers, Alcohol, Open Flames, Weapons, illegal Substances, Drones, Laser Pointers, Glass Containers and any other item that the Organisers reasonably consider to present a safety risk are not permitted at the Event.
3. As a condition of entry or at any time during the Event, Attendees may be asked to submit to a search of their person and belongings (including bags, pockets, and clothing). Any person who refuses to comply with a search request may be denied entry to the Event or escorted from the Venue.
4. All children and minors must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of minors under their care.
5. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Event if weather conditions are deemed unsuitable or unsafe for the bonfire and/or fireworks display, or due to circumstances beyond their control amounting to force majeure.
6. If the Event is rescheduled in the same calendar year, tickets will automatically be valid for the new date.
7. All reasonable instructions and requests by Event staff, marshals and volunteers must be complied with at all times.
8. The Organisers reserve the right, at their absolute discretion, to refuse entry to or expel from the Venue, any person or group who:
acts in a manner which is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, anti-social, aggressive, or abusive in the sole opinion of the Event staff, marshals or volunteers;
is reasonably deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances;
is in possession of prohibited items; or
fails to comply with any safety regulations or reasonable instructions from Event staff, marshals or volunteers.
9. By attending the Event, Attendees consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for marketing purposes.
10. Personal photography is permitted, but the use of professional recording equipment is prohibited without prior written consent of the Organisers.
11. Parking is not available on or near the Venue and there is no Event car park - please park away from the Event and walk. Attendees must not park illegally or block access to local properties.
12. Admission is at the Ticket Holder’s own risk. All Attendees are advised to wear suitable footwear and appropriate clothing for outdoor conditions.
13. Due to the nature of the Event, there will be loud noises & flashing lights from the fireworks and heat, smoke & ash from the fire. Attendees, especially those with young children, are advised to wear appropriate hearing protection.
14. Animals and pets are strictly prohibited from entering the event site, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
15. The Organisers and Venue owner accept no responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property sustained at the Event, except where caused by direct negligence of the Organiser.
16. The Organisers are not responsible for services provided by third party vendors at the Event.
17. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in areas where they are normally prohibited by the law. Smoking is strictly prohibited near the bonfire safety fence until after the fire is lit.
18. Spectators must not climb fences or barriers, throw objects or interfere with event equipment.
19. Ticket sales are non-refundable. However, the Organisers understand that exceptional or unforeseen circumstances can arise. The Organisers' trustees may, at their absolute discretion, consider requests for a refund on a case-by-case basis.
20. Notwithstanding Clause 19, if the Event is cancelled or if the Event is rescheduled and you are unable to attend, requests for a refund must be made prior to, or no later than fourteen (14) days after, the date the Event was originally scheduled to occur.
21. Booking and transaction fees from our ticket and payment partners, incurred at the point of sale and included in the ticket price, are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
22. If you are refused entry or removed from the Event due to a refusal to be searched or for possessing prohibited items, you will not be entitled to a refund or any financial compensation.
23. The Organisers are not liable for any personal expenses or auxiliary costs (such as travel or accommodation) incurred as a result of Event cancellation or postponement.
24. Once a discretionary refund is approved by the Organisers' trustees, it will be processed within three (3) working days. It may take up to a further ten (10) working days for funds to appear in your account, but usually arrive much sooner. Refunds will only be processed back to the same payment method/account used for ticket purchase, in order to comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
25. To formally request a refund review by the Organisers' trustees, please email tickets@wadhurstwarriors.co.uk with your proof of purchase, reason(s) for requesting a refund and any additional supporting information.
26. Where a Ticket Holder has purchased multiple tickets or tickets on behalf of others, they are responsible for providing individual tickets and any relevant terms and conditions to all corresponding Attendees.
27. Tickets are revocable licenses valid for this Event only and remain the property of the Organiser.
28. Tickets may be transferred or resold to another individual, but strictly at face value or less. The unauthorised reselling of tickets above face value for commercial gain or profit is strictly prohibited. Any tickets found to be resold in breach of this condition may be voided without notice, and the holder refused entry to the Event.
29. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
30. Invalid provisions will be severed and delays in enforcement do not waive rights.
31. These terms constitute the entire agreement between parties and third parties have no rights under these terms.
32. Personal data will be retained to facilitate the safe running of the Event and any related enquiries, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Contact information may be used by the Organisers to send you information relating to the Event and future associated charity events. There will be an opportunity to opt out of these communications at the point of ticket purchase, and an unsubscribe option will be provided on all subsequent marketing emails. 33. The Organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
